Setting up synchronization via WAP and HTTP connection:

If in settings of synchronization you selected the provider of wap-connection, it is necessary to turn on the use http-proxy and in the section "Settings"->"Connection"->"http-profile" set the correct values of proxy-server, its port, name of user and password in accordance to the parameters of Your operator of connection.

If in settings of synchronization you chose the provider of internet-connection, it is necessary to turn off the use http-proxy. For the Siemens telephones a choice is possible between the modes of synchronization:

The mode «Normal»: It is the standard mode of synchronization. A server and client are exchanging only with new and modified information. At the ordinary use it is recommended to use the "Normal" mode exactly. For setting of the "Normal" mode of synchronization it is necessary to go to the menu “More”->>"Dist. sync."->>"Sync. mode" and in the field "Date of sync." select item "Date of changing".

The mode «Slow synchronization»: In this case a client sends all information, a server brings in it to DB and sends to the client only new information. This mode arises up during the first synchronization. Some devices allow to activate «Slow synchronization», in this case it is necessary to take into account that it bears additional superimposed expenses, related to the volume of exchangeable information because each time all information for this device wil be sent. But it also allows in the case of necessity fully to renew information of a client on a server. For setting of the "Slow" mode of synchronization it is necessary to go to the menu "More"->>"Dist. sync."->>"Sync. mode" and in the field "Date of sync." select item "All dates". The telephones of Siemens, since 65 series, enable choice of direction of synchronization from three possible:

«Two-way» synchronization is the mode, at which information is passed both from a telephone to the server and from a server not telephone, recommended for the ordinary use.

«Update of telephone» is the mode of synchronization, at which information is passed only from a server to the telephone.

«Update of server» is the mode of synchronization, at which information is passed only from a telephone to the server.

For the change of direction of synchronization it is necessary to go to menu "Remote synchronization" ->> "Mode of synchronization" and in the field "Direction of synchronization" select the proper item.

Attention: If synchronization takes place first, combination of the modes «Update of telephone» and «All dates» of synchronization is impermissible, because the complete loss of data of address book, calendar, tasks and notes is possible.

Synchronization is not possible on the Siemens telephones CX75 with weaving of SW-Version 05.

Siemens telephones of series 55 improperly pass notes written with a Cyrillic alphabet. Recommended before synchronizing notes to present them in Latin letters.
